“I am Yana Mostitsky, a creative commercial portrait photographer”
I enjoy creating artistic portraits that show off my client’s personality, profession and style, through illustrative narrative with a classic, somewhat surrealistic touch. I am also a fan of the retro style, simple portraiture, either in color or monochrome. In my imagery, I seek to empower my subjects. The combination of controlled lighting, attention to detail, well-planned color palette and direction of the subject into the right mood and pose are the parts of the puzzle that create a unique portrait. At the end of the day, achieving the desired result makes me incredibly satisfied with what I do.
