“I am Yana Mostitsky, a creative brand and fashion photographer”
Originally from Moscow, shaped by years of travel, I bring a global eye and a sharp sense of storytelling to fashion, brand, and advertising photography. Before I stepped fully into image-making, I worked in biochemistry research and earned a Master’s degree in Protein Biochemistry, a foundation that still shows up on set in the way I think: curious, precise, and relentlessly detail-oriented.
I later completed a Master of Arts in Commercial Photography at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, where my work was awarded Best Portfolio of the Year. With 12 years behind the camera, I create bold, polished, concept-driven campaign visuals, striking, colorful, and emotionally resonant often infused with humor, wit, and a subtle, knowing hint of surrealism.
I’m a full-production partner from the first concept to final delivery: creative direction, production planning, casting and hiring talent, beauty teams, styling, set design, and high-end post-production, so the work looks beautiful, cohesive and performs for the brand
